Hey Days Nursery - Our Facilities

The nursery has a very spacious, carpeted baby room, offering a safe environment for the under two's, a comfortable sleeping area, also a cosy nest area where children can relax and have some quiet time. The under two's also have access to their own outdoor space.

There is a large play area for children aged 2-4 years situated over two large rooms including sand and water, role-play, malleable materials and many other educationally purposeful activities allowing for personal/educational development and enjoyment.

We have a quiet area for group singing, looking at books and having story time. We have a sensory room which has been specially designed to stimulate children's senses. All children have access to this room. We also support children's IT skills.

There is a large, well-equipped, fenced outdoor play area offering well balanced opportunities for the development of Physical and Social skills. Children also have access to our permacultural garden, this is a natural environment, where they can explore, investigate and show curiosity about the world around them.

The nursery provides various educational toys, books and equipment that support and meet the needs of the children.

The equipment is carefully maintained in view of safety and new resources are regularly purchased.
