Hey Days is located within the rural community of Holmfirth and situated within the grounds of Holmfirth High School. The Nursery is registered for 58 children. We offer Full and Part-time care / education for 0-5 year old Children. (Including 2* & 3 year old Nursery Education Funding *Subject to conditions) A team of experienced and qualified staff (holding N.N.E.B, NVQ Level 3 & 4, Level 5 in Leadership and BA Honours in Childhood Studies) will provide a warm, caring and stimulating atmosphere, encouraging the children to realise their maximum potential. Staff training is regularly undertaken keeping them abreast of current issues.

We are also a member of the National Day Nursery Association and have achieved a recognised quality award. we are committed to providing a secure, safe and a fun learning environment, we provide the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up. By supporting and encouraging each individual child we aim to develop their independence and self-confidence.
All nursery practitioners at Hey Days Nursery believe that it is important to value all babies and children as competent learners from birth. All children have from birth a need to develop. We recognize their individuality, efforts and achievements. Relationships with adults and children are important in a child's life and a relationship with a key person is essential. The key person is responsible for meeting the child's needs, building up a secure relationship and carrying out observations. A record of achievement file is kept for all children.
Emphasis is placed on learning through play and planning around children's interests, we are committed to supporting children to achieve the early learning goals set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
A nutritious, balanced diet is offered, all meals being freshly prepared on the premises. Every effort will be made to cater for special dietary needs as far as is possible, through discussion with our nursery cook.
